As a stabilizing agent, our technical grade Chloroform (trichloromethane) contains a trace amount of ethanol. It is a clear liquid with an ether-like aroma and a mildly pleasant flavour. Nonflammable.

Alkaloids, lipids, oils, waxes, and resins are commonly dissolved in chloroform. Miscible with almost all organic substances. It is used to create coolants and to adhere acrylic pieces together. Also used in the wildlife control industry to handle skunks safely without them polluting.
