Ferric Ammonium Citrate is an odourless or slightly ammonia-scented greenish yellow substance. Saline and mildly ferruginous flavour; affected by light and water-soluble. It is an unstructured complex salt composed of iron, ammonia, and citric acid.

Used for cyanotype photography. Also as a treatment for iron deficiency (iron chlorosis) in trees.
