Handling & Storage:Avoid breathing in mists or vapours. Stay away from skin, eyes, and clothing contact. Put out any open flames. Avoid smoking. Eliminate the ignition sources. Prevent sparks. During pumping, electrostatic charges could be created. Fire could start from electrostatic discharge. By bonding and earthing (earthing) all equipment, you can guarantee electrical continuity.
Tanks for bulk materials should be dicked (bunded). It is not advisable to expel tank vapour into the atmosphere. A proper vapour treatment system should be in place to regulate breathing losses during storage. Must be kept out of direct sunlight, potential ignition sources, and other heat sources in a diked (bunded), well-ventilated space. Avoid aerosols, flammables, corrosives, oxidizing agents, and other flammable materials that are not hazardous or damaging to people or the environment.
