Sodium Metabisulfite, 500g For Sale
In aqua regia and gold chloride solutions, dissolved gold is frequently precipitated using sodium metabisulfite. Sulphur dioxide gas, which is effective at precipitating gold from solutions, is produced when it is dissolved in water. Because it is more selective in precipitating gold by itself, sodium metabisulfate is a frequently used ingredient in this method.
In order to recover gold from e-waste, sodium metabisulfate and urea are frequently utilized.
Manufacturers of wine (and beer) utilize sodium metabisulfite to prevent the growth of bacteria and wild yeast in the wine. It is also effective at sanitizing wine-making equipment.
Dosage:
Wild yeast: 5 litres of must to 14 teaspoon of wild yeast.
For sanitizing, use two ounces per gallon of water.
