Turn Water Into Wine Kit For Sale

This easy illusion is created by using a pH indicator and a pH change from neutral to basic, which causes a clear chemical solution to immediately turn red. Using chemically treated liquids, this kit resembles the colour of water and wine. These substances should not be consumed.

1 oz bottle phenolphthalein solution (pH indicator) is included in the Water To Wine Kit.
1 ounce sodium carbonate powder (alkaline substance that changes the pH from neutral to basic).
Materials Required:
Powdered sodium carbonate
Phenolphthalein solution in a water pitcher
two clean wine glasses
a measuring spoon
Preparation:
Add 1 teaspoon of sodium carbonate powder to a pitcher filled with about a pint of water, away from your audience.
Stir until the solution is clear. This is your “plain water.”
Add 1 teaspoon of the transparent phenolphthalein solution to the bottom of one of the clean wine glasses. This is the “wine” glass.
Performing the Trick: Pour some of the “plain water” into the empty “wine” glass in front of your audience.
Say some special words.
Fill the “wine” glass with phenolphthalein-treated “plain water.”
The solution will become crimson immediately, changing “plain water” into “wine.”
